After following Dave Ramsey’s Debt Snowball steps, we finally paid off almost 000 of debt in only 9 months! Last Tuesday I made my final payment on my credit card. I am now Debt Free. 25K in 18 months. Dave Ramsey is awesome

Apparently, Dave loved this video so much that he showed it to his wife Sharon! I was told that it aired on his TV show, and we subsequently received a very nice thank-you gift package loaded with financial books and tools for the kids! Pretty cool, huh?

Absolutely my pleasure – it feels fantastic beating the stereotype of the “starving musician”! The beginning was definitely the hardest part, and it took a good while before it felt like actual progress was being made. Don’t give up, keep your eyes on the goal!!

I envy my kids for being so knowledgeable about financial basics – they’re going to be so much better off than i’ve been! It’s pretty cool watching them budget, work chores, and save up for video games!
